Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Provide guidance and direction to employees, orient, train, and assign tasks to ensure efficient production and high-quality output.
  • Quality Control: Inspect production lines, check products against specifications, and take corrective action to resolve any issues.
  • Production Planning: Develop and implement production plans, manage inventory, and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Employee Development: Foster a positive work environment, provide feedback and coaching, and support employee growth and development.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement, implement changes, and monitor results to optimize production efficiency and quality.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with employees, management, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and resolve issues.
  • Technical Skills: Possess strong knowledge of metalworking machinery, stamping presses, and production systems, including Daikin's Production Daikin System and Flexible Manufacturing System.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, and Excel, with ability to learn new software and systems.
  • Problem-Solving: Utilize effective problem-solving skills to resolve issues and improve production processes.
  • Organizational Skills: Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, Associate's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.
