Position Overview
The Solar Sales Specialist is responsible for generating sales leads and conducting in-home presentations on our solar energy products and services. This role emphasizes building authentic connections with potential customers to assess and recommend solar energy as a viable solution for their homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to generate leads and secure appointments with prospective clients.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience from the initial contact through the installation process and beyond.
- Conduct in-home presentations, evaluating customer needs and knowledge while fostering long-term relationships.
- Manage the sales pipeline from prospecting to installation, ensuring consistent follow-up with leads and consultations.
- Accurately document and report outcomes using our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Meet or exceed sales targets as established by the sales leadership team.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in sales or lead generation, preferably with in-home sales experience.
- Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for collaborating across departments to meet customer needs.
- Willingness to travel within the local market as required by business needs.
- Comfortable using technology, including an iPad/computer and various software applications; experience with CRM systems is advantageous.
