Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our team at Cannonball Recruiting LLC. As a Manual Machinist, you will be responsible for machine parts off of shop drawings, providing high-quality parts in an efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and run manual Lathes, Mills, and Drill Presses working off shop drawings
  • Read and interpret shop drawings to ensure accurate part production
  • Consistently produce high-quality and accurate parts
  • Work safely in a heavy industrial environment, adhering to all safety protocols
  • Be at work and on time every day, meeting productivity and quality standards

Requirements:

  • Ability to set up and run manual Lathes, Mills, and Drill Presses working off shop drawings
  • Must be able to read and interpret shop machining drawings
  • Ability to hold tolerances to within .0005" as required
  • Ability to use precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and dial bore gauges
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work 10 hours a day, including Saturdays as required
