Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team at RJW Logistics. As a key member of our warehouse operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods throughout our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate sit-down forklifts and/or walkie riders to transport goods and materials within the warehouse.
  • Load and unload RJW truck/trailers and outside carriers safely and efficiently, following all safety procedures.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment, including stacking and storing stock in a safe and orderly manner.
  • Process outbound cross-dock freight as needed, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of goods.
  • Verify the accuracy of shipments against paperwork and documentation, and report any discrepancies to the Shift Supervisor.
  • Perform daily forklift maintenance inspections and complete any necessary repairs or maintenance tasks.
  • Work from warehouse operations sheets to pick customer orders and load on trailers, ensuring accurate and efficient fulfillment of customer requests.
Requirements
  • 3-6 months of forklift driving experience in a warehouse setting, with a focus on sit-down forklifts and Electric Pallet Jacks.
  • Good stable work record and ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; warehousing certifications a plus.
