The Clinical Supervisor plays a vital role in the Nursing Department, overseeing the daily operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. This leadership position requires a strong understanding of human resource management and budgeting principles.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Nursing Department Director/Manager to develop and implement departmental goals and objectives.
- Supervise nursing department associates and provide guidance on patient care and safety protocols.
- Participate in the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient and family services.
- Coach and develop employees under their supervision to achieve excellence in clinical and service delivery.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, with a BSN preferred.
- Current RN license in the State of New Mexico.
- Current BLS Certification, with ACLS and PALS/NRP certifications preferred.
- 3 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting.
The Clinical Supervisor will work in a fast-paced clinical environment, with exposure to infectious diseases and x-rays. The ability to handle emergency situations and work irregular hours is essential.
Physical RequirementsThe Clinical Supervisor must be able to stand for prolonged periods, handle emergency situations, and have good body mechanics.
