At the Southcentral Foundation, we are seeking highly motivated and compassionate individuals to fill the role of Mental Health Support Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Behavioral Health Technician I or II, where you will play a vital part in providing high-quality care to our customers-owners.

About the Role:

We are looking for professionals who share our passion for delivering exceptional patient care. As a Mental Health Support Specialist, you will be responsible for facilitating skill development and serving as direct care in the milieu for our customers-owners. Your primary focus will be on ensuring a safe and supportive treatment environment, while also promoting customer-owner outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and support customer-owner care that is highly interactive and participatory
  • Ensure a safe and supportive treatment environment
  • Provide supervision of the customer-owner to meet State of Alaska Licensing regulations

Requirements:

  • Three years of experience working in a behavioral health setting
  • At least twenty-one (21) years of age
  • Valid Alaska driver's license and a clean driving record

Salary Range: $57,760 - $79,362 per year
