About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at TotalMed. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency room setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat patients with emergent medical conditions in a dynamic emergency room environment.
  • Administer medications, perform procedures, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to stabilize patients and ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Monitor patient vital signs, response to treatment, and changes in condition, adjusting care plans as necessary to address emergent needs.
  • Advocate for patients' needs and coordinate care transitions, including admissions to inpatient units or referrals to specialty services.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on post-emergency care instructions, follow-up appointments, and community resources for ongoing support.
Requirements
  • Current RN license
  • BLS (Other Certifications as required by facility)
  • Two years of recent ER RN experience
  • Strong communication and adaptability skills
