Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Trim Technician to join our team at GrowSciences. As a Trim Technician, you will be responsible for processing cannabis flower by carefully trimming away sugar leaves and fan leaves, ensuring the highest standard of quality and compliance with state regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare trimming stations for each shift, ensuring all necessary equipment and materials are available.
  • Process cannabis flower by trimming away sugar leaves and fan leaves, adhering to strict quality control standards.
  • Return all trimmed cannabis, trim, waste, and sift to the Post Production Lead to record metrics.
  • Assist with Fresh Frozen harvests, ensuring all functions are performed to the highest standard of quality and compliance.
  • Work effectively in a team setting, taking instructions well and assisting with tasks as delegated by the Lead or Manager.
  • Manage time efficiently to meet productivity goals, while consistently producing high-quality work at a steady pace.
  • Maintain the highest level of cleanliness and sanitation inside the processing area, participating in the clean-up of equipment and the workplace at the end of each shift.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
  • Knowledge of the cannabis plant and current medical and recreational marijuana laws.
  • Experience in a dispensary, cultivation facility, or assembly line production environment (1 year recommended).
