Job Summary

Fox Valley Technical College is seeking a qualified Nursing Instructor to join our team. As an Adjunct Faculty Member, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education to our students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective instructional strategies to engage students and promote learning.
  • Assess student performance and provide timely feedback to support student success.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum that meets industry standards.
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in nursing education.
  • Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Nursing.
  • Minimum of two years of occupational experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Active Wisconsin licensure as a Registered Nurse.
  • Work experience with a focus on assessment of clients in either acute care, long-term care, or community nursing.
  • Prior teaching or training experience is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Five years of occupational experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to infuse multicultural perspectives into course content and delivery.

Working Conditions

This is a part-time, adjunct faculty position. The total hours for an adjunct instructor range from approximately 3 hours per week to no more than 8 hours per week. Hours vary and can include both day, evening, and weekend classes.
