Job Summary:

Olin is seeking an Operational Excellence Engineer to lead the plant-level improvement process, gathering and analyzing data, evaluating improvement opportunities, and implementing improvement projects. This role ensures plant improvements align with business objectives via the Plant Specific Technology Plan to close performance and reliability gaps, reduce costs, and increase productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize operations to meet Business and plant goals.
  • Initiate changes to Plant Operating procedures.
  • Implement best practices to optimize operations, including pipeline and tracking tools ownership.
  • Ensure regulatory and responsible care compliance via operating discipline.
  • Partner with Plant Process Control Coordination to ensure process control optimization; partner with plant operations to generate process data for improvement opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  • 3+ years of project/manufacturing experience.
  • Prior management of vendor proposals and quotations, contractor bids, and development of desired solutions preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and work in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated use of Microsoft Office systems; SAP experience preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and possess a valid US Driver's license.
