At AdeIphi Medical Staffing, we are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in providing high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with our healthcare team.

About the Job:

This is a contract/travel position offering a competitive salary of $1,860/40-hours or $1,556/40-hours locally. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering direct nursing care to patients under the guidance of RNs or physicians.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Direct Nursing Care: Administer medications, provide wound care, and monitor vital signs while ensuring accurate dosing and adherence to established protocols.
  • Patient Assessments: Perform comprehensive assessments involving physical exams, medical histories, and medication reviews to create personalized care plans.
  • Medication Administration: Safely administer prescribed medications and treatments while monitoring for potential side effects and complications.
  • Wound Care and Management: Evaluate, clean, dress, and manage wounds, incisions, and injuries while actively monitoring for infection or complications.
  • Vital Signs Monitoring: Continuously monitor and document patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on their medical conditions, prescribed medications, and self-care practices to promote overall well-being.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and address any concerns that may arise.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Licensed Practical Nurse State License: Hold a valid and active license to practice as an LPN in the state where the facility is located.
  • BLS Certification: Possess current Basic Life Support certification.
