Warehouse Loader

Job Title: Loader

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Loader to join our team at Heritage Grocers Group. As a Loader, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient movement of products from staging lanes into trailers for proper distribution to our customers.

Responsibilities:

* Load and unload trucks with precision and speed
* Move freight, stock, or other materials from staging lanes into trailers
* Consolidate multiple pallets together and wrap all pallets being loaded
* Use an RF gun to scan all barcodes pertaining to the client being loaded
* Ensure the integrity of product for shipment and prevent any damage
* Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a productive pace
* Complete tasks in a timely manner and follow safety procedures
* Keep track of inventory and process items

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent
* Previous warehouse experience preferred
* Familiarity with warehouse procedures and RF scanner guns
* Ability to work in cold and wet environments
* Flexibility regarding work hours and overtime

Physical Demands:

* The work environment is typical of a distribution center
* Regularly required to sit, stand, and use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls
* Lifting, pushing, pulling, and/or carrying up to 50 lbs
* Able to squat, bend, stoop, push, pull, kneel, and reach
* Required to work in a food handling environment with varying climates
