ResponsibilitiesThe Department of Internal Medicine is seeking an academically oriented internist to join the Division of Hospital Internal Medicine. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing inpatient care to patients with complex medical conditions
- Supervising and teaching medical students and residents
- Participating in clinical research opportunities
The ideal candidate will be Board Certified in Internal Medicine with additional training in advanced General Internal Medicine or significant inpatient practice experience. A minimum of one year of post-residency inpatient practice experience is preferred.
QualificationsTo be eligible for this position, you must:
- Hold an MD, DO, or foreign degree equivalent
- Be eligible for an Arizona medical license
- Be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or in the final year of an ACGME-accredited program leading to certification
This is an exempt position with a full-time schedule. You will be eligible for comprehensive benefits and will work 80 hours per pay period. This position is not an international assignment.
