We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic Neurology team at UT Health Science Center. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional care to patients with complex neurological conditions, with a focus on epilepsy management in both hospital and outpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments, and provide appropriate treatment, including monitoring and ordering medications.
- Coordinate and implement patient care plans, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide education and guidance to patients and their families on medical processes, medication, nutrition, and health promotion.
- Assist physicians in formulating therapeutic decisions and maintain accurate records.
- Current Texas licensure as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
- Current specialty certification as required by department
- Masters in Nursing as NP or completion of a post-masters Nurse Practitioner Certification Program
