Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team at TMC Bonham Hospital. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for performing laboratory testing procedures, including blood specimen collection, quality control analysis, and maintenance of accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all required laboratory testing procedures in various sections of the clinical laboratory according to policy and procedures.
  • Interpret and troubleshoot patient results.
  • Collect and process specimens for testing or referral.
  • Assist physicians and other hospital personnel with interpretation of test results.
  • Ensure a clean work area and adequate supplies.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree from an approved program in Medical Technology.
  • ASCP certification as MLT (Medical Laboratory Technician) or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, and learn a computer system.
  • Good verbal communication and listening skills.
  • Commitment to team operation with customer service spirit.
