Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule the delivery of drywall materials and supplies to job sites, working closely with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to determine delivery requirements and timelines, ensuring seamless logistics operations.
  • Collaborate with purchasing and procurement teams to ensure an adequate supply of drywall materials, maintaining inventory levels and placing orders as needed.
  • Track and verify the quality and quantity of delivered materials, reporting any issues or discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, invoices, and other related documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and adhere to project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of drywall materials to support construction progress.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to enhancing the efficiency of the logistics operations.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in construction logistics, expediting, or related fields.
  • Solid understanding of drywall materials and their specifications.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient computer skills and familiarity with logistics software or systems.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift light to moderate weight and sit for extended periods of time.
