About the Role

The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) seeks a highly skilled Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) Primary Care Provider to join our team. This individual will be responsible for providing direct clinical care to patients, managing their care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop medical protocols and treatment regimens.

Key Responsibilities

This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care, and meeting the needs of our diverse patient population. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct clinical care to patients, including conducting physical exams, taking medical histories, and ordering diagnostic tests
  • Developing and implementing patient care plans, in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
  • Collaborating with other staff members to establish medical protocols and treatment regimens
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in medical knowledge and skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Key requirements include:

  • Licensure as a Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) in the State of Alaska
  • Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with additional certifications as required
