Respiratory Therapist Seasonal PRN

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Medical City Dallas. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our pediatric intensive care unit.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and deliver respiratory care services to pediatric patients, including diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures.
- Monitor patients receiving invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation, and perform patient assessments to evaluate the need for and response to respiratory therapy.
- Administer respiratory care therapies, including oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy.
- Initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation, and perform other duties as assigned by the department manager.
- State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or State Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT) certification.
- Ability to work a minimum of 72 hours per pay period during the seasonal period.
- Availability to work three weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period and two holiday shifts per 32-week period.
- Ability to float to other facilities within a close geography as needed.
