The Sanitation Manager will be responsible for overseeing the sanitation team and ensuring the ice cream manufacturing plant adheres to rigorous sanitation standards and regulations.
Estimated Annual Salary: $100,000 - $130,000, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities and Qualifications- Lead the sanitation team to ensure proper cleaning and sanitizing of all equipment, tools, and production areas according to the plant's sanitation schedule and regulatory standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain sanitation procedures and SOPs, including CIP systems, to ensure compliance with industry standards, GMPs, and food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to review and improve sanitary design in production areas.
- Ensure that all equipment and facility design follow sanitary principles to minimize contamination risk.
- Provide training to sanitation personnel on best practices, chemical safety, and sanitation procedures.
