About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Tech to join our team at Family Resource Center of Northwest Ohio, Inc. As a Behavioral Tech, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health diagnoses and/or co-occurring disorders in our residential program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to residents, including cooking, housekeeping, laundry, and personal hygiene skills
  • Oversee the administration of medications and observe residents' behavior and functioning
  • Monitor progress on treatment plans and communicate with team members
  • Facilitate programming using evidence-based behavioral management techniques
  • Work collaboratively with other providers, family members, and significant others involved in residents' recovery plans
Requirements
  • HSD/GED or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to use various computer apps, including Microsoft Office and online systems
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a residential environment
  • Knowledge base of psychological disorders and related behaviors
  • Experience de-escalating situations
