Financial Operations Manager

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Manager to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, journal entries, and bank reconciliation.

**Responsibilities:**

* Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes, including but not limited to: A/P, A/R, payroll, journal entries, and bank reconciliation.

* Assist in the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts, and report variances.

* Participate in the preparation for the annual audit.

* Maintain company accounting procedures and processes.

* Prepare financial statements for internal and external use.

* Research and analyze expense variances for company management.

* Ensure compliance with all internal processes.

* Review company financial reports and seek ways to reduce costs.

* Analyze market trends and project cost.

* Ensure all accounting practices align with state and federal government regulations.

* Manage tax provisions, tax compliance, and tax planning.

* Oversee asset control, ensuring all assets are accounted for and in good condition.

**Requirements:**

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with exceptional knowledge of Excel and accounting software systems.

* Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.

* Knowledge of local, state, and federal tax compliance regulations and reporting.

* Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus.

* Excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts.

* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

* The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

* Strong attention to detail with an aptitude for problem-solving.
