Aureus Medical Group - Imaging is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join their team on a travel assignment in Alaska.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cath Lab Technologist to work in our state-of-the-art imaging facility. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting with cardiac catheterization procedures, operating imaging equipment, and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures, including preparing patients, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
  • Operate imaging equipment, such as fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines, to capture high-quality images of the heart and blood vessels.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, including educating patients on procedures, administering medications, and monitoring vital signs.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including cardiologists, nurses, and radiologists, to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures, including imaging results and patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with a specialization in cardiovascular imaging.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist in a hospital or imaging facility setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
