Nurse Practitioner

DaVita is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at our University Dialysis Center in Saint Paul, MN.
About the Role:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care and support our clinical teams. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for supervising and performing direct patient care, including taking and monitoring vital signs, initiating and terminating dialysis, and documenting patient treatments.
Responsibilities:- Supervise and perform direct patient care, including taking and monitoring vital signs, initiation and termination of dialysis, and documentation of patient treatments.
- Provide dialysis therapy, including formulating dialysis plans, verifying safety measures, and administering medications or other treatments.
- Analyze patient assessments, laboratory data, and bring concerns to the attention of the physician.
- Communicate emergencies, patient life-threatening complications, and related incidents to supervisor, Medical Director, Regional Operations Director, or Facility Administrator.
- Assess patient and family learning readiness and provide information on renal disease, prescribed dialysis treatment, and medical regimen.
- Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree.
- Experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Critical Care Unit (CCU), Emergency Room (ER), or Medical Surgical (Med Surg) may be helpful but not required.
- Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) may be beneficial.
