About the Role

The Global RAD Operations (GRO) network is a critical component of Amazon's internal logistics, delivering millions of packages and smiles to customers every day. We're seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Engineering Technician. This role will work closely with our Operations and Engineering teams to improve process quality, monitor and report on process failures, and collaborate on change implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support engineering with process audits, performing daily audits and following up on non-compliance.
  • Collaborate with area managers and engineers to support change implementation.
  • Review and write SOPs for operations as required.
  • Be the voice of the associate in identifying gaps and escalating to the engineering team.
  • Support and work in assigned departments as required.
  • Assist the floor as an associate resource, training associates, and verifying SOP compliance.
  • Participate in Operational Excellence initiatives.
  • Collaborate with operations to analyze delivery defects and risks.
About the Team

The Ops Engineering & Analytics Team is at the heart of the OpsTechIT Supply Chain Fulfillment Operation, responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure, tools, and processes necessary for smooth RAD Operations. This multidisciplinary team combines elements of Ops Engineering, Analytics, Quality Engineering, Materials Management, and Learning & Training.

The team's focus is on optimizing RAD process performance, reliability, and scalability. With expertise in building and maintaining complex systems and processes, the team ensures RAD operations can operate efficiently, effectively, and securely.

Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Diploma or one year of continuous Amazon experience.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts/areas.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office, Intermediate Excel skills for data analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Completed Bachelor's Degree.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Awareness and willingness to use Operational Excellence tools and techniques.
