Job Overview

Fishbeck, Thompson, Carr & Huber, Inc. (FTCH) is on the lookout for a Lead Project Coordinator to enhance our expanding Architectural Division. The ideal candidate will possess a solid history of orchestrating and managing medium to large-scale initiatives.

This role offers the chance to engage with diverse project categories, particularly in the higher education, research and development, workplace, and civic/municipal sectors.


Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with the market leader to establish fees, project work plans, and timelines for proposals.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts with clients and subcontractors.
- Cultivate and maintain client relationships throughout project development and execution.
- Work closely with the design team during the programming and conceptual stages.
- Oversee the technical team during the creation of design development and construction documents.
- Facilitate coordination among in-house engineers and external consultants.
- Develop front-end specifications with client input.
- Supervise construction administration and project closeout activities by the team.
- Serve as project manager/project architect as needed for key clients.
- Assist with departmental responsibilities including quality control assessments, reviewing technical standards, and mentoring junior architectural staff.

Physical Requirements

Mobility to operate in an office environment, utilize standard office equipment, visual acuity to read printed materials and a computer screen, and auditory and verbal communication skills to interact in person or over the phone.

Desired Qualifications

- Master of Architecture or Bachelor of Architecture Degree from an accredited institution.
- 15+ years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Professional licensure is preferred.
- Familiarity with project planning and budgeting software such as BST, Deltek, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and BSD Spec Link is advantageous.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent organizational abilities.
- Detail-oriented, self-driven, enthusiastic, and adaptable.
- Ability to collaborate effectively under tight deadlines.
