We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Internal Medicine Physician to become a vital part of our healthcare team, committed to delivering exceptional patient care while respecting the dignity and individuality of each patient.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care, including conducting physical exams, evaluations, and diagnoses for a designated patient demographic.
- Prescribe appropriate medications and treatment plans based on thorough assessments of medical conditions.
- Facilitate referrals to specialists and coordinate with relevant healthcare services as necessary.
- Oversee and guide the patient care activities of nursing and support personnel.
- Engage in health promotion and educational initiatives as appropriate for the role.
- Demonstrate the ability to observe, assess, and document patient symptoms and progress effectively.
- Maintain knowledge of legal and ethical standards in medical practice.
- Possess familiarity with medications and non-pharmaceutical aids, ensuring proper dosage and patient education.
- Stay informed about accreditation and certification standards relevant to medical practice.
- Apply current principles and methods for medical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment within the specialty.
- Exhibit the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Qualifications
- Valid Medical License in Indiana.
- Valid Medical License in Illinois.
- Board certification or eligibility in the relevant medical specialty.
- Preferred experience of 3-5 years, though new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Completion of a U.S. Residency Program.
