Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Associate to join our team at DAIKIN COMFORT TECHNOLOGIES DIST INC. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our warehouse facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Warehouse Operations: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and transfer materials and products within the warehouse and to/from delivery trucks.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure all items are received and stocked in assigned locations, and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Cycle Counts and Audits: Conduct regular cycle counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Will Calls and Customer Service: Respond to customer requests and complete will calls in a timely and professional manner.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Accurately complete paperwork and transaction entries, and generate reports as required.
  • Housekeeping and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, and adhere to good housekeeping and safety procedures.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, and 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or inventory management role.
  • Skills and Abilities: Effective verbal and written communication skills, high level of attention to detail, basic computer skills, and ability to operate a forklift safely.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, lift up to 50 pounds, and stand for long periods.
Working Conditions

The warehouse is not climate controlled, and employees are required to wear proper PPE and uniforms at all times.
