We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Technician Trainer to join our team at Progressive Tractor & Implement Co. As a key member of our training department, you will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs for our technicians.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement lesson plans and instructional materials to ensure effective learning outcomes.
- Provide individualized and group instruction to technicians, focusing on diesel mechanics and related skills.
- Maintain a positive and disciplined learning environment, promoting good rapport between employees and others involved in the learning process.
- Evaluate technician progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with executive management.
- Perform basic attendance reporting duties and maintain surveillance over company-owned materials, equipment, and tools.
- Participate in ordering shop materials, supplies, and parts, working within established budget and procedures.
- Promote the program by recruiting throughout the community and attending professional meetings as requested by executive management.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and competent work environment.
- Bachelor's degree in education or a relevant field.
- 2+ years of teaching experience in a classroom setting.
- Previous agriculture and construction experience preferred but not required.
- Maturity and ability to handle the demands of the job, with excellent leadership and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and verbal presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Good physical and emotional health, with the ability to perform all aspects of the position unassisted.
