Key Responsibilities:
- Possess a BS or BA degree in chemistry or a related physical science discipline, with a minimum of 25 quarter hours or 12 semester hours dedicated to chemistry.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the utilization, calibration, and upkeep of laboratory instruments and equipment, with a solid understanding of appropriate analytical methodologies and techniques.
- Prior experience in a substantial water treatment facility is advantageous, particularly in the operation and maintenance of clarification, filtration, reverse osmosis, and de-ionization systems.
- Understand that the role encompasses not only laboratory testing but also includes analyzer maintenance, field sampling, equipment operation in water treatment settings, equipment and vessel inspections, and management of chemical treatment systems.
- Be prepared to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, occasionally facing elements such as rain and cold weather.
