Banquet Captain

At Hotel Albuquerque of Old Town, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banquet Captain to join our team. As a Banquet Captain, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our banquet services, providing exceptional guest experiences, and supporting our front-of-house team.

• Support the Kitchen Leadership in maintaining a culture of service within the team.
• Ensure a proper flow of service and FOH staffing levels during shifts.
• Maintain good working relationships with suppliers and identify opportunities to decrease operational costs.
• Focus on the guest experience and make decisions to ensure guest satisfaction, especially when resolving complaints.

• Excellent verbal communication and multitasking skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience/training, with a post-high school degree in Hospitality preferred.
• 2 years of food and beverage supervision/lead experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, with luxury branded hospitality experience preferred.
• Valid New Mexico Food Handler Certification and Alcohol Server Certification.
• Ability to work on your feet for eight hours or more.
• Knowledge of Restaurant Point of Sale systems.
• Ability to lift/push/reach for/carry 30+ pounds frequently.
