Machinist Fabricator

Staffworks CNY is seeking a reliable and skilled Machinist Fabricator for direct placement at their award-winning client.

We offer a competitive starting rate of $37,440 per hour, depending on experience. As a Machinist Fabricator, you will be responsible for operating CNC milling machines, inspecting parts, and maintaining specifications. You will work 2nd shift, Monday to Friday, from 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.

• Operate CNC milling machines to produce high-quality parts.
• Inspect parts using hand tools such as micrometers, calipers, and indicators.
• Loading feed mechanisms by positioning stock correctly.
• Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run parts, and sample work pieces, adhering to international standards.
• Maintain specifications by observing milling operations, taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting processes, adjusting and reprogramming controls, sharpening and replacing worn tools, and adhering to quality assurance procedures.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field with experience in blueprint reading, measuring instruments, and manual or CNC machine center operation.
• Ability to read prints, diagrams, and use micrometer, verniers, calipers, and gauges.
• Strong attention to detail.
