Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Heidelberg Materials US, Inc. in Pavilion, NY. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing repair and maintenance tasks on aggregate, asphalt, and concrete plants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery
  • Conduct inspections and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
  • Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of an apprenticeship program or certification in a related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field
  • Welding experience a plus
  • MSHA training a plus
Work Environment

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work up to six days a week (Monday-Saturday) and occasionally on Sunday. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift up to 75 pounds.

The physical demands of this role include sitting, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, twisting, climbing, balancing, bending, kneeling, reaching, grasping, squatting, repetitive motions, manipulative finger movements, and use of wrists and feet. The successful candidate will also be required to work in confined spaces and wear respiratory and other personal protective equipment.
