English Instructor

We are seeking a highly qualified English Instructor to join our team at Platt College Los Angeles, LLC. As an English Instructor, you will be responsible for providing quality instruction to students that meet the program and course objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of adult learners
• Maintain a positive and effective learning environment that fosters student growth and development
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure curriculum relevance
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum changes
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback

Requirements:

• Master's Degree in English or related field
• Minimum of 15 semester credit hours/23 quarter credit hours in related subject area that supports the General Education curriculum content
• A minimum of two years' experience in field of instruction for GE classes preferred
