Position Summary:

The Construction Manager will be responsible for the oversight and coordination of construction initiatives within the Travel Services division. This role encompasses the planning, directing, and management of construction operations to ensure timely completion, adherence to budgetary constraints, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate detailed project plans, encompassing timelines, budgets, and resource distribution.

  • Engage with municipal and regulatory officials for necessary entitlements and permits.
  • Track project schedules, progress, and contractor insurance compliance.
  • Inspect construction sites to ensure completion and safety standards are met.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • 4-7 years of experience in a Construction Manager role is preferred.
  • Exceptional planning and time management capabilities.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and specifications.
  • Familiarity with construction management software and tools.
  • Understanding of development and construction principles, including design phases and project management.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and resourcefulness.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards in the construction industry.
  • Willingness to travel to various locations as required.
