Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to join our team at SIXT USA. As a key member of our airport branch, you will be responsible for overseeing the vehicle distribution and turnaround processes to ensure seamless customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and expenses to identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction.
  • Develop and implement efficient turnaround processes to meet customer demands and drive rental growth.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Branch Managers, staff, service providers, and vendors to ensure smooth operations.
  • Establish and communicate daily vehicle needs to vendors to facilitate efficient vehicle turnaround and movement.
  • Create weekly forecasts for subcontractor needs to support cleaning and vehicle movement processes.
  • Manage the cleaning and servicing of vehicles at the Quality Transportation Area (QTA) to ensure smooth fleet movement from return to ready line.
  • Ensure quality control by performing vehicle inspections to review subcontractor performance.
  • Collaborate with the Branch management team to understand logistics needs and support Fleet Planners in ensuring subcontractors meet vehicle reservation demands.
  • Investigate and resolve operational and customer problems in a timely manner.
  • Conduct daily game plan meetings with subcontractor managers, Fleet department, and Fleet Planners/Customer Service agents.
  • Coordinate vehicle movement to and from overflow lots.
  • Optimize driver activity to maximize lot space and traffic flow.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the driver team and Managers for vehicle upgrades.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in fleet management, operations, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of key performance indicators (KPIs) and expense management.
