We are seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Onsite Women's Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality digital mammography and breast ultrasound procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Perform digital mammography and breast ultrasound procedures to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process to reduce anxiety and ensure patient cooperation.
- Operate mammographic equipment, adjusting controls to set exposure factors based on radiographic exposure techniques and protocols.
- Practice radiation protection techniques, using beam restrictive devices and patient shielding skills.
- Ensure equipment is in proper working order, performing required QA testing to comply with MQSA, ACR, and State regulations.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and process routine paperwork and data entry.
- Participate in professional development activities and maintain professional affiliations.
- ARRT certification required.
- Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in mammography.
- Self-starter with ability to work independently and maintain CMEs as required by State and National accreditation bodies.
- Valid state license if applicable.
- Patient-centric, compassionate, and computer-savvy individual.
