We are expanding our team and are in search of qualified part-time or full-time Speech-Language Pathologists/Clinical Fellows to provide early intervention and CPSE services in Dutchess County. Our agency is known for its commitment to quality care and has established a strong reputation in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
The following duties are essential to the role:
- Engage in one-on-one sessions with children experiencing developmental delays and their families, utilizing an embedded coaching model to offer support, information, and skills that facilitate the generalization and maintenance of therapeutic goals while promoting the child's development.
- Deliver home and community-based speech therapy, ensuring alignment with IFSP/IEP goals and objectives.
- Collaborate effectively with other service providers, including Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, and Special Instruction/ABA providers, to support the achievement of IFSP/IEP goals.
- Document session notes and progress reports as mandated by the early intervention/CPSE program.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- M.A. or M.S. degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders/Speech-Language Pathology is required.
- A valid NYS License in Speech Pathology (or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship) is mandatory.
- Demonstrated excellence in written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills is essential.
- Ability to collaborate with the clinical team and related service providers effectively is crucial.
