Job Title: Physician Radiology

At Sepiolite Technology, we are seeking a highly skilled Physician Radiology to join our team. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a vital role in the diagnosis and treatment of breast diseases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Image Interpretation: Review and interpret mammography, ultrasound, and breast MRI studies to provide accurate and timely diagnoses.
  • Interventional Procedures: Perform image-guided breast biopsies and other interventional procedures to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
  • Consultation and Communication: Provide consultation to referring physicians and communicate imaging results effectively to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Participate in multidisciplinary conferences to discuss treatment plans for breast cancer patients and contribute to a comprehensive approach to patient care.
  • Professional Development: Stay updated with advancements in breast imaging techniques and technologies to ensure the highest level of patient care.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and accuracy of all mammography reports and documentation to maintain the highest standards of patient care.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with technologists to optimize imaging protocols and patient care, ensuring a seamless and efficient workflow.
  • Education and Research: Contribute to educational and research initiatives within the radiology department to advance the field of breast imaging.
  • Quality Improvement: Participate in continuous quality improvement activities to enhance patient care and ensure compliance with safety regulations and radiation protection guidelines.
Required Qualifications:
  • Medical Degree: Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
  • Residency Training: Completion of residency training in Diagnostic Radiology.
  • Fellowship Training: Fellowship training in Breast Imaging or Mammography.
  • Board Certification: Board certification in Radiology and Mammography.
  • Licenses: Licenses to practice medicine and prescribe medications.
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in interpreting and performing breast imaging procedures.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using PACS, RIS, and other radiology information systems.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to work effectively within a collaborative, multidisciplinary healthcare team and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Education and Development: Commitment to ongoing education and professional development to stay current with advancements in breast imaging.
  • Compliance: Compliance with ethical and professional standards, including patient privacy regulations and HIPAA guidelines.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and provide compassionate patient care.
