Job Overview

Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Driller Helper for a 6-month contract, with the possibility of converting to a permanent position.

This entry-level role offers competitive pay and on-the-job training, providing an excellent opportunity for career growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the driller in setting up and operating drilling rigs and related equipment to drill holes for geotechnical exploration test borings.
  • Obtain samples from well holes as directed by the project manager.
  • Dig and clean mud pits.
  • Label sample containers as directed.
  • Assist the driller in the maintenance and repair of drilling equipment.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to drive and shift gears for extended periods to and from job sites.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods while drilling.
  • Ability to consistently lift drill steel, materials, and samples weighing 25-80 pounds.
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (heat and cold).
  • Manual hand dexterity.
Requirements
  • Class A CDL and an excellent driving record.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
