Clinical Operations Supervisor

We are in search of a dynamic and driven clinical leadership professional to take on the role of Clinical Supervisor within our Outpatient Services division. In this capacity, you will oversee a team of clinicians, ensuring the quality and effectiveness of their services through comprehensive clinical supervision in accordance with all regulatory standards.
In collaboration with the Outpatient Administrative team, you will be responsible for extensive program management, which includes training initiatives, program enhancement, continuous professional development, and building strong relationships with educational institutions, county, and governmental organizations.
This position is primarily office-based but will require occasional community engagement for the observation of clinical staff, client interactions, and participation in various meetings or training sessions. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the expectation of being accessible to your assigned staff during the operational hours of outpatient services.
Qualifications Required:
Education and Experience
Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
At least one year of full-time postgraduate experience providing direct mental health services to children, youth, or young adults, and meet one of the following criteria:
Possess a graduate degree from an accredited institution recognized by the United States Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in a clinical discipline that includes a clinical practicum.
Hold an equivalent degree from a foreign institution evaluated by recognized credential evaluation agencies such as the Association of International Credential Evaluators, Inc. (AICE) or the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES).
Additional Requirements:
- Proficient in using standard office equipment, including personal computers and various software applications.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as necessary.
- Ability to pass required background checks.
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to build relationships and work collaboratively.
- Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proactive problem-solving skills with sound decision-making abilities and a forward-thinking approach.
- Proven capacity to handle confidential information with discretion and adapt to competing demands while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that IBHS staff receive supervision in line with agency policies and regulatory requirements, providing clinical oversight during operational hours.
- Collaborate with the IBHS Administrative Supervisor to meet program benchmarks and ensure high-quality clinical services.
- Conduct and document clinical record reviews and outcomes to maintain excellence in IBHS performance and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Facilitate mandatory training sessions for staff.
- Organize and participate in staff meetings and other team gatherings as needed.
- Maintain a caseload that may vary based on program size.
Work Schedule:
This is a community-based position with work hours tailored to client needs. Availability for additional hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required based on job responsibilities.
When working remotely, compliance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations is essential for all home office setups.
