Licensed Practical Nurse

UPMC Muncy is seeking a Casual Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Medical Surgical unit. As a member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve desired patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the healthcare team.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work a minimum of 36 hours within a 6-week timeframe, with 24 of those hours being off-shift or weekend.
- Ability to work a casual schedule, including weekends and holidays.
