Job Overview

REMELT SOURCES INCORPORATED is seeking a highly skilled Furnace Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating induction furnaces to produce high-quality alloys.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety and Housekeeping: Maintain a safe working environment by following strict guidelines and adhering to high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Induction Furnace Operation: Operate induction furnaces to melt scrap and/or virgin content, produce various alloys, and maintain furnace condition.
  • Main Hot Metal Crane and Auxiliary Hot Metal Hoist Operation: Safely operate cranes to push out working linings, load items on the melt deck, and remove furnace bodies when necessary.
  • Push Out and Rebuild Induction Furnaces: Hook up and use a ram to push out working lining, inspect grout and key components, and install monolithic lining.
