Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized plans of care that reflect the patient's needs and goals.
- Ensure that patient care meets the highest standards of quality and safety, adhering to regulatory requirements and Kaiser Permanente policies and procedures.
- Participate in departmental performance improvement activities, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members, providing exceptional customer service and promoting a positive work environment.
- 1 year of recent experience in Labor and Delivery or successful completion of a KP L&D course.
- Registered Nurse License (California)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification
- Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certificate within 12 months of hire
- Basic Life Support certification
