About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate Accountant to join our team at Brady Martz and Associates. As a Senior Associate, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional accounting services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
  • Work under the supervision of an Accountant in Charge to complete tax returns
  • Draft and review reports, financial statements, and other engagement deliverables
  • Provide feedback to Managers, Senior Managers, and Shareholders
  • Participate in business development and utilize excellent judgment and analysis to make recommendations to clients
  • Provide technical advice and planning services
  • Work as part of a team to provide audit and/or tax accounting services for clients
  • Oversee and review the work of Associates, including training and mentoring
  • Utilize cloud-based technology and other audit/tax software
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business required, with a preference for a Bachelor's in Accounting
  • 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting
  • Experience working in government and/or not-for-profit preferred
  • Licensed CPA or CMA license or working towards obtaining preferred
  • Understanding of GAAP and GAAS
  • Strong technology skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally
