Job Overview

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team in Waxahachie, Texas.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing radiation therapy procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients under the general supervision of a Radiation Oncologist.

Responsibilities
  • Perform High-Quality Procedures: The Radiation Therapist will perform high-quality radiation therapy procedures according to exam protocol in a timely manner.
  • Maintain Quality Standards: Maintain production and quality of imaging procedures by following established standards and protocols.
  • Communicate Effectively: Utilize AIDET when communicating with patients to identify patient service requirements, ensure the correct exam is performed on the correct patient, and establish rapport with patients and others.
Requirements
  • Certification: Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiation Therapy (ARRT-T).
  • Skills: Ability to perform tasks alone without routine oversight, maintain a calm and helpful attitude under stress, and take appropriate steps to resolve issues.
  • Education: Demonstrates and maintains current knowledge, continued education, and skills appropriate for the role.
