Medical Assistant Professional

Job Summary:
ChenMed is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant Professional to join our team. As a Medical Assistant Professional, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and administrative support to our physicians and clinical staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and record patient vital signs
- Record patient interview and medical history
- Catalog and communicate patient needs to the PCP, Clinician, Specialist, and/or other clinical personnel
- Prepare patients for examinations and perform routine screening tests
- Assist physician with exams and explain treatment procedures and physicians' instructions to patients
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education (GED) required
- Graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program or comparable healthcare vocational training required
- A minimum of 1 year of work experience as a Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, or similar in a hospital, medical clinic, or comparable environment required
