About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at Mortenson Family Dental. As an experienced healthcare professional, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience. In addition to a generous salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, flexible spending accounts, paid time off, and employee stock ownership plan.

Responsibilities

  • Provide necessary information to dentists for diagnosing dental treatment through x-rays, verbal communication, and other dental tests.
  • Perform comfortable periodontal evaluation, general scaling, scaling, and root planning for all patients.
  • Complete clinical notes according to practice guidelines before dismissing patients.

Qualifications

  • Dental Hygiene Certificate/Degree from an accredited dental hygiene program.
  • Active dental hygiene license issued by the state board.

  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree.
  • Local anesthesia and nitrous oxide certification.
  • Laser Debridement Certification.
