Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations and supervision of a classroom of children.
  • Adhere to all guidelines and regulations set forth by Primrose School of Greatwood and relevant local, state, or national agencies regarding child health, safety, and care.
  • Continuously evaluate each child's developmental requirements, understanding their social, emotional, and creative needs.
  • Design and execute approved lesson plans and daily schedules in alignment with the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum.
  • Collaborate with leadership to organize parent-teacher meetings and student assessments.
  • Maintain an inviting and well-organized classroom that encourages exploration, creativity, and confident decision-making.
  • Provide positive reinforcement and clear expectations for children's behavior.
  • Take responsibility for the upkeep and cleanliness of the classroom, shared spaces, and outdoor areas.
  • Participate in all mandatory staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
  • Exhibit a professional appearance in accordance with the Primrose School of Greatwood Employee Handbook.
  • Assist in additional tasks as directed by the Director or their designee.
  • Prior experience in a licensed early childhood education setting is preferred.
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 35 lbs. to ensure child safety and facilitate programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a licensed early childhood education role is preferred.
  • Understanding of the social, emotional, and creative needs of young children.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. for the safe handling of children and emergency situations.
