Are you passionate about working with electronics and enhancing the capabilities of first responders? Do you possess a minimum of one year of experience in installing automotive radios, alarms, and other electronic systems in a dynamic workshop environment?

Our client is seeking an Installer for their operations. The successful candidate will be expected to exhibit expertise in the installation of both mobile and stationary wireless radio systems, adhering to manufacturer specifications and company protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit proficiency in the installation of mobile and stationary wireless radio systems, in line with manufacturer and company standards.
  • Carefully remove and reinstall original equipment manufacturer (OEM) vehicle interior components.
  • Install electrical wiring, connect fittings, drill necessary holes, perform soldering, and execute all physical tasks related to modifying vehicles for emergency equipment installation.
  • Design efficient wiring routes throughout vehicles to facilitate future replacements and troubleshooting.
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment issues as required.
  • Complete installations across a wide variety of vehicle types, including sedans, SUVs, commercial trucks, buses, motorcycles, and ATVs.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and clean workspace and tools.
  • Engage in continuous learning regarding new products, skills, and techniques from peers and manufacturers.
  • Assist with inventory management, including parts, shipping, and receiving as necessary.
  • Ensure all required documentation and paperwork are completed accurately.
  • Uphold customer confidentiality by safeguarding service information.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
