Commercial Construction Superintendent

**Job Summary**

K2 Staffing is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our construction projects, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Develop and implement project schedules, including short-interval look-ahead schedules, to ensure effective project control and minimize delays.
• Oversee and maintain a safe working environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Manage and coordinate the work of subcontractors, suppliers, and other third-party vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Administer contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders to ensure compliance with project terms and conditions.
• Manage and maintain accurate records, including project schedules, progress reports, and quality control documentation.
• Provide regular updates to project stakeholders, including clients, project managers, and other team members.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction, with a focus on ground-up construction projects.
• Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects, including experience with tilt-up and ground-up construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques, including experience with Tenant Improvement (TI) projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Project.
• OSHA 30 certification and other relevant safety certifications.
